Monthly training w/ weight training

With this 1-on-1 individual training we work with developing agility and strengthening your body. It is just as important as developing your skills on the court. This session gives the athlete balance between the two and elevates their game mentally and physically. This service takes 2hr. In the first 1 hr. athlete would be in the weight room and the second 1 hr. in the gym working on skills, dribbling, shooting, cutting, defense, move without the ball etc. This training is also personalized to what the athletes need to work on.  

 Advantages: Most trainers and facilities only focus on skills training. Our services/ program focuses on increasing their strength ability and preventing injuries and keeping the body healthy even what they put inside their body. This service helps athletes that are trying to become stronger, quicker, explosive. Also, who may not have experiences or need insight in gaining weight or learning the weight room. This also helps athletes to keep the balance between skill and strength.

 Service Process: The athlete will go through workout evaluation and sit down to understand their goals with training. Recognizing their weakness and strengths on offense and defense. After the assessment, we will take the athlete through drills to strengthen their technical basketball and the muscles that are critical to the game. At the end of each session, we will assess progress, discuss results, and set a plan for the next session. We are always open to feedback from the athlete throughout the process to make this experience very meaningful.

This package is private individual sessions which includes weight training. This package is for athletes who need 1on1 training and physical development.

5 sessions per month. 2 hour session.

This purchase is for the monthly training option. You will be charge on the same day of purchase each month unless you choose to cancel your membership. G.R.I.T family is not responsible for memberships that are not cancel. In case this happens you are only eligible for a credit to use towards this program.

Elementary “Little Hoopers” Group/team Training Session

Our group training classes are a unique opportunity to still get individual attention but also participate with other athletes at or around athletes’ skill level. Our group skill classes are divided into beginners, and moderate. Beginner workouts will focus more on the fundamentals of the game. Moderate pushes athletes to elevate their abilities and IQ of the game. This service is 1hr; 5 days a month, once every week. Beginners Sessions are on Wednesday.

Only 10 athletes per group.

 Advantages: Challenging the athletes to be competitive and be coachable in a setting with other athletes in their skills. Challenge them mentally in game-like situations. Challenge their communication skills, leadership, and sportsmanship.  Developing athletes team mindset and team skill when learning the game. This can give important life skills as well. Motivating through use of modeling, peer mentoring and positive reinforcement.

·          Scrimmages

·         Teaching basic plays in given situations

 Customer Job:  Athletes being a team setting elevating team skills into team competitive play. Understanding leadership on team. Communication skills.

 Service process:   Athletes are paired with a group of athletes that are at similar skill level. Whether you’re a beginner, moderate, advanced, or elite. Athletes will be challenged as they compete in small groups who are similarly skilled. Group Session (Athletes are in a competitive setting and learning different specific skills depending on the level of athletes IQ, 10 members is group session. Athletes learn how to make game decisions on the fly, on the run with an opponent in their face. Competitive, learning to be coachable and leadership, sportsmanship.

  Theses sessions are for beginners athletes. Our beginner sessions are for athletes learning the game theses sessions will be teaching the basic fundamentals of basketball. Our Moderate sessions are for athletes that are looking to move forward in improving their skills and IQ.

Our group training classes are a unique opportunity to still get individual attention but also participate with other athletes at or around athletes’ skill level. Our group skill classes are divided into advanced, and Elite. Our advanced & elite workouts are more High-level skill workouts preparing them to play on more competitive level. This service is 1hr. 5 days a month once every week.

Only 10 Athletes Per Group

Middle School & high school sessions are for Grades 6th-12th. Advanced sessions teaches basic skills and concepts that will prepare the athlete to compete on higher level. Elite sessions are for athletes looking to enhance their IQ (game like situations), which translate to competitive play. Beginner sessions teaches the fundamental skills to play competitive.

Private Sessions

If you’re looking for individual basketball training (athletes) that offers the opportunity to work on specific techniques or parts of your game, then individual training is the perfect opportunity for you. This service gives the athlete 1 on 1 attention, more reps to perfect their craft. More insight from trainer/coach and vice versa for the coach/trainer. This service lasts about an 1hr. 30mins, athletes can book more than one session if wanted or needed.

 Advantages: Our program fits the athletes’ needs and level of skill and IQ. This approach significantly affects the athlete’s level, enhancing their skills beyond what could be achieved through team practices. Private lessons have the flexibility to adapt to the athlete learning style. Whether the athlete is an auditory learner who thrives on verbal instructions or kinesthetic learner best suited for hands on practice. Taking their abilities and IQ of the game and enhancing it turning their weakness into strength and elevating their strengths.
